Coventry is forty minutes from our base along the A45 or the M6, which is close enough for a planned project to be run day to day and for a call-out to be answered the same day. The city has two universities and the student housing that goes with them, a large hospital and the clinics around it, the automotive and advanced engineering sites on the ring road and at Ansty and Whitley, offices in the centre and at Westwood and Binley, and a hospitality trade that has grown with the city's regeneration.

Student accommodation and HMOs
Coventry has a great deal of housing let to students, from purpose-built blocks to converted terraces in Earlsdon, Canley and Foleshill. For the landlords and agents who run it, the work is the EICR cycle, interlinked fire detection to the grade and category the licence requires, emergency lighting on the stairs, and door entry with fobs that are cancelled at the end of each tenancy. Engineering and automotive
The engineering sites around the city need the same industrial work we do in the Black Country: three-phase distribution, machine supplies, high-bay lighting, detection across large spans and CCTV on the yard. Shutdowns are planned around production and used fully.
